Glenn Tabor’s career as an Engineer and Producer has spanned many years and numerous musical genres. He started his career in the mid 90’s graduating from Full Sail University in Florida with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in engineering. An opportunity for a chief engineer position brought him to North Carolina where he started his professional career at a small Christian label. Shortly after that, he started his own production company and studio named Gat3 Productions in 1996. Tabor’s experience throughout the decades of recording and mixing for artists and labels includes Pop, Rock, Christian, Bluegrass, Folk and Jazz worlds among others. After receiving a previous Grammy Nomination in 2008 for the Album, Tell Someone (Rebel Records), by Kenny and Amanda Smith for the category of Best Southern, Bluegrass or Gospel Album category, he went on to receive two additional Grammy nominations, winning both. He completed production work as well as mixing on the award–wining album, Oh Happy Day (EMI Gospel/Vector Recordings), including the title cut performed by Queen Latifah. The album took home the award for Best Traditional Gospel Album. The second album that also won that evening was Heather Headley’s Audience Of One (EMI Gospel), which was awarded Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album of the year. Many Churches, Artists, and Groups turn to him for his production and mixing skills. In 2013 he started the Gat3 Recording Program, in the same Charlotte location as the studio. This program enabled those interested in Audio Engineering a way to learn the skills necessary to become an Audio Engineer at an affordable cost and in an intimate environment.
