Об исполнителе:
Godfroid-Adrien Rottenburgh (1703—1768) was a Belgian luthier from Brussels, son of Jean-Hyacinthe Rottenburgh (1672—1756). He made flutes, oboes, clarinets, and bassoons under G.A./Rottenburgh label while also using his father's 'I.H./Rottenburgh' mark posthumously on some instruments. Rottenburghs were leading providers of wind instruments in Belgium, exclusive suppliers for the Royal Court and Brussels' city cathedral, and faced virtually no competition in the early XVIII century. Recorders and flutes are mainly of French tradition, while in stringed instruments, the Rottenburgh family followed Flemish and German canon (with some Italian influence).
