Goldy Malavsky

American singer and cantor. Oldest daughter of cantor Samuel Malavsky and sister of Gittele Malavsky, whom she sang with in a duo. Also sang with her father's family band The Malavsky Family Choir as well as with her sisters Minnie Malavsky, Ruth Malavsky, and Gittele in the Four Chazentes.. Considered one of the most significant cantorial performers of the post-Holocaust period. Born 1923 Died 1995.
