Aaron was the guitarist in onenumberprinciple from 1998-2001, the Fall of the Midwest was a project Aaron put together which included some live sessions recorded on reel to reel in Austin, MN with Mark Cutshall on drums and handling the recording. A few of the pieces were recorded at home by Aaron on 1/4" tape, the majority of the album was recorded with Michael Thompson at Lastminute Records studio at the Studio Academy in Rochester, MN. All songs were written and recorded on the spot with Michael Thompson playing drums and some bass, everything else was performed and written by Aaron Thompson. Aaron co-ran Lastminuterecords with his younger brother Michael Thompson from 1998-2003? Aaron was in several bands following this including the Fever, Odds Against Me, thedesertisonfire, the Laramie Itch and Moving Monuments amongst others. Aaron also contributed some keyboard sampled sounds for the 2001 Cadillac Blindside release, "the Allegory of Death and Fame". In 2010 Aaron started 24framemedia and began filming live music shows, short docs, etc. In 2019 Aaron began doing some gear demos and after a hiatus from making music, in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic In Service was born, an ambient/electronic music project.
