Radio Minus

French project focusing on hidden treasures from music for or by children Since 2013, Radio Minus has been busy collecting, archiving, documenting and disseminating those hidden treasures of the kiddy records produced for, or by children all around the world. Animated by a team of enthusiasts at the forefront of the subject, the radio often teleports its collection within the framework of vinyl DJ sets for young audiences. Their goal: Get kids dancing to songs that they never heard of before. In addition to these DJ sets, Radio Minus released two compilations so far on the french label Born Bad Records ("Chevance, etc." and "Prends le temps d'écoute: music for free expression in the Freinet classes "), wrote liner notes and occasionnally articles (for Musique Journal, Audimat, Syntone or Langue Pendue). They also curated and set-up the exhibition "Miniatures: hidden treasures of children's records in France", that was held in Paris in 2020.
