Peter Schöning

Swedish cellist and music teacher, born July 24, 1964. He is a licensed music teacher and teaches cello, chamber music and orchestral playing. Educated at the Academy of Music at the University of Gothenburg where he studied for Robert and Maja Vogl and then for Janos Starker in Canada. As a professional cellist, Peter has made 16 recordings, several of them with his piano trio and a large number of TV / radio programs in various genres and has worked in many of the Nordic orchestras. He travels around the world and teaches, conducts and plays. Many of Sweden's new cellists have studied for Peter and in 2017 he received the ESTA-Sweden teacher award.
