The Zorn Trio

Swedish piano trio that was formed in 1985 by Lars Hägglund, Joachim Gustafsson and Peter Schöning and made their debut 1986 and toured extensively between 1986-1988. The group then split up to concentrate on their own careers but kept playing and performing together occassionaly. In 1995 the trio decided to reform on a permanent basis aiming to perform works of lesser known romantic composers as wel as encouraging and inspring young composers to write new for pianotrio formula. The trio have been working with Mats Johansson (13) and Isildurs Bane since 1991 resulting in performing on the albums The Voyage (A Trip To Elsewhere) and Mind Volume 1.
