Droste (4)

Droste is an Instrumental Project from Chile, that seeks to experiment with new sounds using the typical instruments of a rock band. Its members are Pablo Barra Saa (guitar), Solnegro (guitar), Ignacio EnMarte (drums) and Nicole Gómez (2) (bass). All four manage to create calm atmospheres that in a second can change to powerful sonic mess. It should be noted that Droste release their first homonimuos album [r25727944] (2016) and upcomming new album "Algoritmos" (202X) under the auspices of the Record Collective Experimentos Rurales. The name Droste (4) comes from a visual phenomenon known as the Droste Effect, also known as "mise en abîme" (placed in the abyss, set at infinity) and consists of an image within a smaller version of itself, successively until the infinity and beyond...
