Compass Clique

ComPass Clique is composed of two people Ryan Carter, and Aaron Lapa. They began recording music spoofs in 2007 with their first album under Ryan Carter called “Futuristically Fantastic”. It gained little recognition; but it did solidify their place in the business. Through the years they continued to compose album under Ryan’s name. These albums gained them moderate internet success, but in 2009 they decided to put together a group album “Ghetto People Got This” which would be their debut as the group Compass Clique. They chose this name because of Ryan’s fondness for wearing compasses, and his love of E-40 and The Click (2)'s music. When you listen to their songs which are mostly spoof of already popular hits, you will find that they are very similar to the spoofing styles of [a259422]. Their second album Scoutin' Pancake Mix On The Suburban South Side was released in 2009.
