Simon Walker (3)

English engineer and musician (primarily violinist). Runs The Loophole recording studio, Brighton (UK). After formal training in violin, Walker spent the 80’s as a member of several bands, including Bumble & The Beez, Simonics and Raingods. He also played with artists such as Dexys Midnight Runners, King Kurt, and Tanita Tikaram. In 1988, he founded Loophole Studios in London, which he relocated in 1993 as The Loophole, Brighton. A fixture on the Brighton scene since then, he continues to run the studio, working with bands such as Transglobal Underground, Polak, and Air Formation and playing with local artists including The David Ingledew Band, Rose Divine and the D'Villes, The Modern Exposition, and Dave Mayberry.
