Jennifer Yuill is a singer who grew up in Fargo, ND and later attended Utah State University. She started playing piano from a very young age. While in High School, she would sing while providing her own accompaniment. At some stage she fronted a band that included her two older brothers. During the 1980s, she was a big part of the music scene in Salt Lake City. She sang in a 40’s style big band. She was also responsible for putting together a Motown revue with her good friends, Lori Lynner and Ramona Gibbons (real name Romona Gibbons). Their group was called the Sh’Girls. Her friend Romona was the same mysterious Ramona Gibbons who sang the song "Livin' on the Inside" which was used in the Frank Harris 1984 action film Killpoint, starring Leo Fong, Cameron Mitchell and Richard Roundtree. Yuill's turn for a film song would come 16 years later in 2000, when a song "Riding the Waves" from her first album (12053591), released in 1992, and produced in Philly by Bob King was used in Curt Crane's independent film Postcards for Paradise Park. The film starred Matt Caruso, Peter Walker, Conrad Karlson, Karen Scioli and Bill Weeden. In addition to Out of the Blue, she has had another album released. Way Down Deep which came out in 2004. It included the songs "All I'd Ever Need", "Way Down Deep" and "I'd Rather be There". One of the musicians who played on the album was drummer Tom Cohen. In 2014, she was booked to play at the Moorestown DeCafe in Moorestown, NJ .. Her brother Tony Yuill is an active musician.
