Eddie Carson (2)
Настоящее имя: Eddie Carson (2)
Об исполнителе:
Eddie Carson had been born in North Carolina but relocated to Toledo, Ohio sometime in the 1950s it seems. His first record, under the name of Mr Blues Carson, came out around 1952/3. He released another 45 in 1955 on the nationally distributed Josie label. In the late 1950s and 1960s he played the Midwest chitlin circuit, and along with the The Griswolds (2) and Bobby Smith And The Big Sounds, was one of the residents at Hines Farm. During that time he released a few more records on Detroit labels, and a final 45 in 1966 on the Triode label from New York City. His 1962 recording "The Devastating Bombs" was about the Cuban missle crisis in October 1962, and released under the alternate title "The Bloody Bloody Bombs". Other than that, there does not seem to be a lot of info about him. He seems to have released a record in the 1980s credited to Rev. Eddie Carson. He passed away in 1990.
