Morrison Swann Plus

Duo formed with Eddie Swann and Roy "Butch" Morrison in 1972. The group played an acoustic style of modern folk from popular artists and a blend of original songs. They toured the Carolinas from Myrtle Beach to the Smoky Mountains playing Colleges, Coffee Houses, Hotel Lounges, Private Events and performing in concerts with such artists as Doc Watson, Lester Flatt and The Grass Roots. They performed one summer season at The Carowinds Theme park near Charlotte NC, doing as many as nine shows per day. The duo released a single to radio on the GWS record label titled "I'll Walk You To The River" written by Butch Morrison which received much attention in the Carolinas especially the Asheville Area. A second single was released from producer Rodger Harrison titled "It Doesn't Make Any Difference" also written by Butch Morrison which received equal attention. The group was disbanded in the mid 1970s.
