Audio engineer, music producer, musician, songwriter, Recording studio owner. Based out of Asheville, NC. Eddie Swan created the duo Morrison Swann Plus with Roy "Butch" Morrison in 1972. The group disbanded in the mid 1970s. In 1975 he joined the Trio of Stover, Soesbee and Swann (sometimes called "The Blossom Brothers"), along with Jim Stover and Jamie Soesbee. The trio disbanded in the late 1970s. In 1977 he founded Dawn Studios in Asheville with Richard McBrayer. In 1988, Swann was the winner of the "American Songwriter" award. He was the Director/Owner of Crossroads Music / Horizon Records Inc. (Asheville, NC) from Jan 1992 – Jan 1998. In 1999, he started Eddie Swann Productions, with a home studio located in Mills River, North Carolina. In 2001, he joined the "Grain Of Salt" band with Bobby Anderson, Frank Pomeroy and wife Linda Swann. In 2005, The Regal Media Group, LLC was started with Jim Engel. Swann still performs and records music, and in 2019, he produced and recorded "First Light", a musical journey of Instrumentals featuring acoustic guitar and digital orchestration.
