Doug Fowlkes

Leader/founder of the band Doug Fowlkes And The Airdales (drummer). According to the Jerry Armstrong (band's guitar player): "In 1963, the band split and members went separate ways. Rocker Roberts (Rocky Roberts) took the band's name and went back to Europe where he did very well in the music business with new members." Doug Fowlkes then produced and managed the new bands Rocky Roberts & The Airedales and its follow-up Wess & The Airedales (see Doug Fowlkes Production).
