Shirley Lane

American vocalist from St. Louis, Missouri, active in the late 1930s and early 1940s She performed with the orchestra of Gray Gordon under the name "Shirley Lane", and as "Helen James" with Herb Mahler, and Tony Di Pardo. When with Gordon, she and Betty Lane (2) (aka Betty Barr) were billed as the Lane Sisters, though they were not related to each other.
