Betty Lane (2)

American radio and big band vocalist from St. Louis, Missouri, active in the 1930s and 1940s She sang with the orchestra of Gray Gordon under the name "Betty Lane". She also sang with at least Herb Mahler, Ralph Williams and Dick Barrie as "Betty Barr", and continued to sing in St. Louis at least until mid-1940s. When with Gordon, she and Shirley Lane (aka Helen James) were billed as the Lane Sisters, though they were not related to each other.
