Swedish singer who won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 with "Take Me To Your Heaven". Is now called Charlotte Perrelli. In 1987 Charlotte began singing with the local dance band Bengt-Ingvars in Hovmantorp, which became Bengt-Ingvars with Charlotte, after which she moved to Växjö for further education, where she was a singer in the dance band Kendix from 1992 and in the dance band Anders Engberg's 1994-1997. In 1997, she left the band to become a singer in another dance band, Wizex. Later in 1999 she left Wizex for solo career.
