José Rosario Soto (b. Caracas, D.C, October 7, 1920 - d. IBIDEM, January 18, 2006) Venezuelan singer of latin rhythms , shared his office of plumber with the music. Soto started on radio shows in 1934, the first song he sang was "La Cumbanchá" on "Ecos del Torbes" radio station accompanied by a guitars trio. In 1936 joined to José Quintero and Epifanio Pérez a.k.a "El Diablo" and their sextet named in the same way. The pristine voice of José Rosario, as he was best known, sang with many cuban son style groups, as "Los Rumberos", "Conjunto Pirata", "Sexteto Nacional", "Sexteto La Playa", "Orquesta Tropical", "Los Pures", the last one alongside Carlos Emilio Landaeta ("Pan con Queso") and Pichín León, with them founded in 1977 the famous venezuelan cuban son group Sonero Clásico del Caribe. In 1979 José Rosario left the Sonero Clásico del Caribe and founded his own group "José Rosario y sus Soneros".
