BlacWater is a rap group that combines rapper Silence DeMall from Oakland, California (U.S.A.) and producer Draztik from Johannesburg, South Africa. Born in Gaberone, Botswana, Draztik grew up in Sacramento, California, before relocating back to Johannesburg, South Africa. He remained connected with his peers in the Bay Area and together with rapper Silence DeMall from Oakland, California by way of San Jose has put together the Project BlacWater creating a unique intercontinental collaboration. The group have released several singles on Draztik's independent Unreleased Records which featured some of the Bay Area's more prolific hip-hop artists.
