Об исполнителе:
Mikel Goodwin is a New Zealand musician who has been active in the experimental music scene associated with Christchurch label kRkRkRk recordings since 1994. As well as recording solo material under the moniker Wormwood, he teamed with David Khan and Peter Wright as part of the industrial rock group leonard Nimoy. During his time with leonard Nimoy, Goodwin introduced many sonic elements and techniques that would eventually be adopted by Khan and Wright in their solo work, including combining metal percussion with electronic rhythms, using amplified bows on electric guitar, and the building of noise-generating electronic devices. Following the demise of leonard Nimoy in 1997, Goodwin worked with Khan and Wright in the gallery-based improv projects Noumenon & Death In A Nasty Accident, but his most significant collaboration was Flinch, where he and Wright created electric guitar chaos which was combined with percussion and vocals from Justine Sharp. In 2001, the next major collaborative kRkRkRk band saw Goodwin join Khan, Ed Wilson and J-mz Robinson in the industrially-flavoured pop band MiG-21. A more recent collaboration features Goodwin, Khan, and Rustle Covini under the moniker of zer0.
