The Jazzmin Singers

This mixed jazz choir was formed in 1972, in the city of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Canada. The group consisted of sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses, supported by accompanists and instrumentalists. Initially called the Jazz Pop Group, they were based out of the city's Comprehensive High School along with The Composettes, The Cantando Singers, and The Meistersingers (2). The Jazzmin Singers held concerts and performed for service clubs, community projects, and conventions. This particular vocal group is now defunct, however the school remains operational.
