Ryan Michael Vego

Musician and artist from Seattle, Washington, Ryan Michael Vego was a prolific artist, and played in several bands including Sister Psychic. Vego fronted his own band as well as playing drums in the alternative rock group Sister Psychic from around 1991 to 1994. He worked on Fuel and Surrender, You Freak, before leaving, somewhere presumably in 95' or 96' as being replaced or not involved as much with Sister Psychic In 2021, to mourn his still very affecting loss, there was a bandcamp put up, showing off a re-release of Gwyneth & Pax. It was an album release completed just months before he took his life. This is where Andy Davenhall would pick up after his songs in 2000-2002, for his tribute band to Sister Psychic & Vego, The Lawnmowers (4). Ryan suffered from Crohn's disease, alcoholism and depression. He lost his courageous battle with his demons in March 2000. Born on November 17, 1967 and died in Seattle on March 20, 2000, age 32, by 2023, he would be 53. Rest in Peace, Ryan Vego.
