Skyland Strings

Old time string band based out of Piney Creek, North Carolina active 1971 until the 1990s. Several early members of the band split when the group was on break to form Grayson Highland String Band. Membership varied from year to year and performance to performance, but was primarily centered around Dave Sturgill and, after 1987, Rick Abrams.
