Patti Firrincili

Patti Firrincili worked as a representative for Trutone Mastering Labs from 1985-1989 with the goal of increasing Trutone’s profile within dance music. Patti would use her expertise with dance music, as a DJ, to assist with the EQ of many recordings, give feedback and suggestions, to translate the recordings to best suit the club sound. Patti was often paired with engineer Phil Austin. Runout groove etchings, when they are accurate, often appear as Mastered By Trutone pa ♥ pf. There are however instances when her role was not acknowledged. Patti later moved on as a studio manager with Hit Factory DMS in NYC, working with key established mastering engineers, continuing bringing dance music to the forefront. Patti concluded her DJ career and her work in dance music in 1991.
