Evolved out of The Ban (1965-66) then The Now (9) (1967). After the sole single on Embassy, they became Tripsichord Music Box (1968) when connecting with Matthew Katz and Rusty Evans in San Francisco. Ultimately the band dropped the "Music Box", Tripsichord with their first full length, self titled album on Janus Records.
