Magda Pucci

Brazilian. Musician (producer, arranger, songwriter and performer), in addition to researching the music of several villages for more than twenty years. She has a degree in management from ECA-USP, a master's degree in anthropology from PUC-SP and a doctorate in Performance and Creative Arts from the University of Leiden, in the Netherlands. She directs and produces Mawaca, a group that recreates music from different traditions of the world, which has already toured Spain, Germany, China, Portugal, Bolivia, Greece and France. She produced all Mawaca CDs and DVDs, as well as other artists' CDs.
