In 1978 George Clinton formed what he considered to be the female version of Parliament, Parlet, with Jeanette, Debbie Wright and Mallia Franklin. Because of a few personnel changes in the group, (Shirley Hayden and Mallia replaced Debbie, Janice Evans replaced Mallia) Jeannette was the only original member to record all three of the group's albums: [m19681], [m19688] and [m19694] for Casablanca before leaving in 1980. In 2000, she appeared on Dawn Silva's solo release, [m19760]. **Not to be confused with Jeanette Baby Washington.
