Jay Ronn

"Jay Ronn" (Ronald J. Prohaska) (b. May 9, 1935, d. August 20, 2001) was a United States-based country singer, radio personality, and Operations Manager of WPBK (in 1986), and producer active in South Carolina, USA c.1960's and early 1970's. He also worked at WVAP, "The Voice of the Valley" AM radio station in Clearwater / Langley, South Carolina. In the 1980's, Jay Ronn and his backing band The Country Edition (2) played regularly at the White Lake Opry at the Howmet Theatre in Whitehall, Michigan USA.
