B. June 16, 1988 in São Paulo. Braziian composer and musical producer. Pedro Alterio is the youngest son of composers Rita Alterio and Rafael Alterio. His passion for music started early. In 1998 he started his studies at Conservatório de Música Livre de Tatuí and at the age of 12 composed his first tune: "Ouro em pó". He studied at Colégio Objetivo in Itapetininga, and at 17 moved to the capital, where he studied Journalism for only 1 year. The guitar lessons, however, continued, but this time as a student of Rudy Arnaud, at Zimbo Trio's CLAM School. The invitation by producer José Luis Soares to present his compositions at Villagio Café represents the beginning of his solo career, establishing his composition work with partners such as Dani Black, Pedro Viáfora, Zé Eduardo Nazario, Leo Nogueira, Du Françani, Rita Alterio, Rafael Alterio, Celso Viáfora and Paulo Novaes. In 2008, together with the composer Luiz Ribeiro, he was present in the most recent Ivan Lins DVD, Saudades De Casa, also participating in the release shows at the Sesc Santo André and Pinheiros in São Paulo. She performed with Dani Black and Zé Rodrix at the "Virada Cultural 2009". Also in 2009, together with his friends and partners Dani Black, Pedro Viáfora, Vinicius Calderoni and Tó Brandileone, he launched the project 5 A Seco, which, with a little over two years of life, has already performed on major stages in São Paulo, such as Tom Jazz, Itaú Cultural, Sala Crisantempo, Auditório do Ibirapuera and in Rio de Janeiro, at the Teatro Rival. He also participated in shows of Luiza Possi, Ivan Lins, Celso Viafora. He had some of his songs recorded by Patricia Talem, Bruna Caram, Patricia Bastos, Tatiana Parra and Tó Brandileone. Pedro Alterio divides his time between Vila do Carmo, where he is a partner of Estudio Sollua; and São Paulo, where his presentations in popular music strongholds are becoming more and more frequent.
