Rolf Lännerholm

Swedish oboist, born and raised in Stockholm. Born February 28, 1912, died March 25, 1987. Studied at the Royal. The Conservatory of Music in Stockholm and Paris. After studying at the Conservatory of Music, Rolf received the Jetong. Rolf was active in the Gothenburg Orchestra Association 1932-1938, then in the Kungliga Hovkapellet 1938-1943. First oboist in the Philharmonic Orchestra in Stockholm 1943-1962. Teacher at the Kungliga musikhögskolan 1945-1972. Rolf was at the start in 1956 in the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra's Wind Quintet, and a member of the Little Chamber Orchestra in Stockholm. Rolf was a frequently hired soloist and chamber musician. Father of Ulf Lännerholm and Torleif Lännerholm.
