Swedish oboist, born January 22, 1923 on Rindö, Vaxholm Municipality, died November 6, 2020. Studies for George Pegel at the Royal Academy of Music, Stockholm 1938-1943. After completing studies, awarded the Academy of Music's Token. Active in Gävle Orkesterförening season 1942-1942 as the first oboist. Employed in the Royal Court Chapel 1943-1946. First oboist in the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra 1946-1983. Member of the National Museum Chamber Orchestra, Stockholm Wind Quintet, Little Chamber Orchestra and Gunnar Hahn's Folk Dance Orchestra. Often hired as a soloist and chamber musician. Member of the Royal Academy of Music. Awarded by the King the medal Litteris et Artibus. Father of Åke Lännerholm, son of Rolf Lännerholm, brother to Ulf Lännerholm.
