Herma Lechner

Austrian singer and "Wienerlied" lyricist. She graduated from 'Konservatorium für Musik und darstellende Kunst'. In 1951 she married to Walter Lechner, whith whom she performed 'Wienerlieder' in Das Elite Trio. After her second marriage 1977 to Franzl Fasching they performed as duo 'Hermi Lechner-Franz Fasching. She became honorary president of the 'Association of Lyric Authors' in Austria and 2005 bestowed upon a professorship.
