Wien-Melodie, from 1971 Wiener Musikproduktion. Austrian label based in Vienna, founded by the Josef Weinberger Musikverlag. Label Code: LC 2282 / LC 02282 See also: Wiener Musikproduktion Established record production in 1968. Released in a broad spectrum of genres, including Free Jazz, Big Band productions, Pop, Rock, Novelty and Comedy. Catalog numbers WM 5001-WM 5014 show mostly Swiss mastering stamps but were with rare exceptions pressed in Austria. From catalog number WM 5015 onwards, mastering was mainly executed at Phonodisc GesmbH.
