Known professionally as Pirate (3), or Pirate Ruff Ryders - https://genius.com/Pirate-ruff-ryders-dame-reggaeton-lyrics - Alejandro “Pirata” Cintron is a Brooklyn-born, Puerto Rican - American rapper of the music genre Latin Urban, otherwise known as Reggaeton. Following several years of releasing a steady stream of Latin Hip-Hop demos, throughout the underground circuit of the South Bronx, in the early 2000s, Pirate's music came to the attention of the C.E.O.'s of Ruff Ryders Entertainment. As a result, in 2004, he became the 1st. Latino signed to the label’s “new” lineup, just as Reggaeton music reached the streets of New York City from Puerto Rico. Shortly thereafter, he was showcased on their compilation - album/cd titled Volume 4 - The Redemption, which was released in July of 2005 under Artemis Records.
