Future Queensrÿche guitarist Michael Wilton founded the band Joker (55) in 1978 with friends from Interlake High School in Bellevue, Wash. The original line-up of Joker was fronted by Paul Passarelli, who was considered the "David Lee Roth" of Bellevue according to Brett Miller, a northwest metal historian and fellow member of Lipstick (12). Chris DeGarmo joined Joker in 1979, marking the first time the future Queensrÿche guitar duo would join forces. Another future Queensrÿche guitarist, Mike Stone (5), was a member of the later line-up of Joker that released two albums in the early 1990s
