Frank Pullara

Frank Pullara (1937-2019) was a prominent Rochester-based composer, arranger, and performer of guitar, piano, and most notably, jazz bass. Starting his career in Las Vegas, he was featured in Kai Winding's band and at various points of his career played alongside Sal Nistico, Joe Romano (2), Kathy Dodge, Barry Kiener, Dave Mancini (2), Jeff Tyzik, Steve Gadd, Chuck Mangione, and Gap Mangione. Although he toured widely in the USA, Rochester, NY remained his home base.
