Stefan Schubert

Austrian guitarist, singer, harmonica player, engineer and producer. Born in 1962 in Freilassing, Bavaria, Stefan Schubert studied musically nearby at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Already in 1983 he released the album ...Wie Ein Bär with the rock band Schrebergarten. Already in 1986 he produced Die Experten, whose song Mit Dir even became a hit in the ORF Hit Parade in 1988. In 1990 he founded The Booze Family and went on tour with the band. Stefan released his first solo single in 1993, even played live for the Alpine Ski World Championships. After that he worked with Jimmy Carl Black (1995 to 2003) live and in the studio with The X-tra Combo. After that, together with Willi Resetarits, also known as Kurt Ostbahn or Ostbahn Kurti, he founded the blues band Stubnblues. This collaboration continues to this day. However, Willi Resetarits passed away 24 April 2022 in Vienna. From 2018 he also collaborated with Norbert Egger's bands Natural Blues and City Blues Connection.
