Celso Carrillo

Born on 9th January, 1924. Died 26th December 1988. Bandleader, pianist, percussionist and music arranger from the Philippines, he relocated to Hong Kong. He worked with Mona Fong, ( [a2258801] aka Kong Ling), Carding Cruz, Lita Mendoza and others during the 1960s. Some of the recordings he worked on were for the Diamond (7) label. He was the president of the Philippine Musicians League at one stage.
