Czech group formed in 1993 by four members of the doom/death metal band Mythopoeia - Admirerforestae (guitar/vocals), Francis Empty (guitar), Martin Tree (bass) and Ottar Distress (drums). In April 1994 they recorded their first demo in an amateur recording studio in Pilsen. The self-released demo tape consisted of 8 tracks and was called "666 ... To Awakening", which sold nearly 300 copies. Following the release of the demo, the band held their first concert in the fall of 1994. Their second demo, "The Voices", was recorded at Studio Demos in Prague. This demo tape was released in 1995 by Equinox Records and it sold about 500 copies. More concerts followed. "The Voices" demo was also picked up and distributed by some foreign labels - Autonomy Productions (Germany), Shiver Records (2) (Belgium) and Adipocere Records (France). In the fall of 1995, they were contracted by the Czech-based label Pussy God Records to release a split CD with Unclean. In December of 1995 they entered Benas Studio to record 7 tracks for the split. It was released in 1996 as "Matache Chavala/Tam Kdesi V Hlubinách". The band also self-released their side of the split, "Matache Chavala", on cassette in 1996. More concerts with Czech and foreign bands followed. Pussy God Records also released a cassette compilation entitled "Black Horns Of Bohemia", which featured the Sorath track "Finish Of The Satan's Sword", originally released on their second demo tape. In April of 1997, they released a split 7" EP with Isacaarum on Epidemie Records. In June of 1997 bassist, Martin Tree, left the band. They entered the studio in July of 1997 to record their first full-length album. Mar Markion became their new bass player in October 1997. The full-length was released as "Gnosis" on Leviathan Records in February, 1998. They entered the studio again in April of 2000 to record their second full-length. It was released in September of 2000 as "Omnes Dii Gentium Daemonia", also on Leviathan Records. They supported the album with some concerts and a small, but successful, tour around the Czech Republic called "The Metal Breath Tour of 2000" with such bands as Ingrowing, Fleshless, Breaking Beads, and Dying Passion. The band left Leviathan Records in 2001 because they felt they were not being distributed and promoted properly. In the summer of 2002, they took part in "The Metal Breath Tour of 2002" with Dying Passion and Sad Harmony, at which time they were also working on material for a new album and a deal with a new label. They signed with Metal Breath Production and their third full-length, "Vivimos En Perpetua Guerra" was released in July 2003. In summer 2003 they participated in Czech festivals like "Brutal Assault" and "Open Hell". On August 30, 2003, the band celebrated it's 10th birthday at a club in Pilson called Club Divadlo pod Lampou with Trollech and Sad Harmony. Throughout the fall of 2003 and into 2004, the band toured, promoting their new material. The tour culminated at the club Abaton in Prague on April 20, 2004, where they opened for Mayhem. In September of 2004 they participated in "The Metal Breath Tour of 2004" with Avenger and The Rays Of The Sun. At the end of 2004, they entered Hellsound Studio to record a couple tracks for a split 7" release with Trollech. The split was released in February 2005 on the Pigeonshit Agency label as "Tumultus/Saros".
