Patrick Fitzgerald
Настоящее имя: Patrick Fitzgerald
Об исполнителе:
Vocals, bass player and songwriter. Patrick Fitzgerald (born 7 April 1964 in Basel, Switzerland) founded Kitchens Of Distinction in 1985. Fitzgerald was possibly the first openly gay indie rocker: one might expect the independent scene, political in so many ways, to be sexually frank and proud, but in the late 80's it clearly wasn't. Kitchens Of Distinction split in 1996. Patrick's next move was an album recorded under the artist name Fruit. Stephen Hero became his new solo alias. Along with his new name he went on to start his own label Ragoora in 2000. He later reunited the Kitchens of Distinction in 2013 for the Folly album then disbanded it once again. In 2014 he and Heidi Berry became Lost Girls and put out a self titled album. Fitzgerald later went on to create Oskar's Drum with Yves Altana shortly after for two albums. In 2016 he also released an album with Paul Frederick (of The Family Cat) under the band name The April Seven for one album. Nb: Patrick Fitzgerald doesn't use his own name for solo recordings (except for the This Imaginary Woman release with Fern Smith), as that 'belongs' to another - Patrik Fitzgerald, the punk poet of 70s/80s fame. Please use Patrick Fitzgerald for the Kitchens of Distinction releases and follow the artist link for releases by the poet Patrik Fitzgerald.
