Об исполнителе:
Ed Wilson has been active in the New Zealand alternative music scene since the early 1990s. Early bands such as Junkyard Jesus (1993-95) and The Sprogs (1993-96) were garage-punk outfits. With Kerosene (1995) (a project that also included J-mz Robinson) and Sedative (1996-97) (with Brendon Mably and Nigel Cooper), Wilson entered a more experimental orbit - eventually becoming a significant contributor to the kRkRkRk label between 1996 and 2003. Wilson's kRkRkRk credits comprise BOCCTAHNE (1999-2000), MiG-21 (2001-03) and Antibody (2001-03). Outside kRkRkRk, Wilson was active with post-punk rockers Stuka (1999-2000) (with Lynton Denovan and Dan Brady) and folk-rock duo Lahar (2001-03) (with Scott McAslan). Between 2003 and 2006, Wilson lived in London. Since returning to New Zealand, he has worked with Laurence Smith in the folk-noir duo The New Self.
