Об исполнителе:
L.O.X. (Lip Cream, Orange, & X); original called Masami & L.O.X., was formed out of the ashes of Masami (2) (Ghoul) and Act (6) (ex-The Trash, Axe-bomber)'s previous band The Bad Lots (a.k.a. Masami & The Bad Lots) in the late 1987. The 1987 recording session of The Bad Lots along with Naoki from Lip Cream as additional guitarist, which was released as Masami's solo album "Power Line ✕ Shock Line", evolved into the formation of Masami & L.O.X. shortly after. The guitarist and S.E.X. Records producer Act was in a R&R punk band called Orange at the time and the drummer Yoshiki is from X (later X Japan). The band's first gig was held at Toshima Public Hall in Tokyo on January 24th, 1988. In their early days as Masami & L.O.X., they had Jotaro Takagi (Tetsu-Arrey, ex-Mohawks, Mobs, Ghoul, F.O.A.D., Geizz, etc) as one of the live/tour guest musicians. Some of the other live guest singers and musicians of L.O.X. were Tokurow (Bastard), Yukio Mizukami a.k.a. Nightrider Mizukami (Tetsu-Arrey), Ishiya (Death Side), Ryo Kojima a.k.a. Butaman (Tetsu-Arrey), and Norio Yamakawa (ex-Gas, The Bad Lots, The Coats, Great Richies, etc). Tatsuya Nakamura, who was a member of F.O.A.D. (2) at the time, played drums for L.O.X. at least once (Antiknock show) in the late 1989 when Yoshiki was hospitalized. After Masami's health issues exacerbated and he ended up in a coma in 1989 (eventually died in 1992), the band released the first and the only album entitled "Shake Hand" in 1990 with different guest singers including Toshi from X, Ishiya from Death Side, Ryo a.k.a. Butaman from Tetsu-Arrey, Ranko from The Continental Kids and Sperma, and even Naoki took lead vocals on one of the songs. Yoshiki appears on this album under his alias of Rei Shiratori presumably because of legal reasons since X had already signed to a major label. Around the same time Masami was active with L.O.X., he had also reformed Ghoul (3) (a.k.a. Ghoul II) with Tetsu (11), Shinji Arano, and Jotaro Takagi, also formed another band called Miscreant with Famous (7) and Shinji Arano.
