In 1959 Oswald founded together with one other Bavarian and two Viennese musicians the schlager beat combo Die Bambis, His stage name at the time: Mandy or Mandy Oswald. After very successful years the band split up but Oswald contined to use the band name as Mandy Und Die Bambis. Died March 28, 2023, Vienna.
