Canadian music journalist and publisher. He wrote for Canadian music journal Record Week starting in the early 1970s, eventually becoming its Editor-In-Chief. That led to stints as Canadian correspondent for both Cash Box and Billboard before launching The Record magazine in 1981, which was responsible for inaugurating Canadian Music Week. In 2001 the magazine folded and CMW was sold to Neill Dixon. Soon after he launched website FYI Music News.
