Brazilian mastering engineer. Cut numerous Philips/Phonogram/Polygram LP lacquer masters with the initails JF or (JF) in the runouts. Many records pressed at the CBD Phonogram pressing plant in Barra De Tijuca, Rio have his initials in the runouts, accompanied by the pressing plant code (200) Notice: From the mid-1970s on Figueira shares the work in the studio with Ivan Lisnik so in many cuts made by the duo both monograms are displayed (the circled JC and the 5-pointed star LA). Please credit both engineers when the two monograms appear side by side. Please do not use monograms or symbols as ANV. Refer to them in the credit brackets, eg "Lacquer Cut By [(JF)] - Joaquim Figueira"
