At the age of 8 Jordy had his first experience with Hardcore and other kinds of harddance music. From that day on he found his passion for hard dance music, he wanted to produce music. Jordy started listing to hardstyle back in 2004. On the age of 15 he started to produce hard dance music. After years of making music on the age of 22 Jordy got bad news he had cancer unfortionatly he was forced to stop producing music, after several months of recovery he started where left off.After two years he met Xander on a forum and started to talk to eachother, both of them had the same style, idea's, and drive. Since 2012 he and Xander decided to work together under the name Energyzed. Now on the age of 25 jordy thinks the Hardstyle scene is ready for Energyzed At the age of 17 he also met Tim van de Stadt, from Atmozfears, on the internet, where they found out they lived in the same city. In 2012 Jordy and Tim made two collaborations under the aliases 'Inner Heat & JRD', called The shadows and one as 'Atmozfears & Energyzed', Leap in the dark.
