Mike Kolesar

Pittsburgh-based drummer active since 1969. Studied with ex-Love drummer George Suranovich 1985-1987. Founded Mayhem Records, Psychoactive Recording Company, and Naysmith Records to facilitate releases of new and archival recordings. Credits include performances on local and national TV, radio, webcasts, and concerts and club dates in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Maryland, Washington DC, West Virginia and Virginia. Has opened for national acts ranging from the Ramones, the Romantics, the Pretenders and X to Buckwheat Zydeco, Marcia Ball, Dr. John, and the Neville Brothers.
