Marsha Mann

Marsha Mann is an American vocalist, possibly retired, who's best known as a founding member, lead singer and lyricist of the L.A. microtonal post-punk/rock band Cipher (8) from 1977 till 1983. With Cipher, Marsha sang in Erv Wilson's seven-limit 22-tone scale in which the band played on guitars and bass re-fretted by the band's co-founder, Jose Garcia. In January 1985, Marsha Mann, with her ex-husband Radames Pera, performed on the same night with the band Bachelors Anonymous at Anticlub, Los Angeles during B.A.'s debut club show. In 1986, she played a "first UFO sighter" role in the silent film montage "Long Gunn But Not Forgotten" by Kraig Grady and Keith Barefoot.
