Mats Jonstam

Swedish guitarist , singer, director, photographer, producer and editor, born 23 February 1956 in Sundsvall. After a music career, he began working in film in the late 1980s. He started as a music video director with artists such as Eldkvarn, Marie Fredriksson, Roxette, Wilmer X, Popsicle, Rebecka Törnqvist, Irma and more. In 1990, his video with Magnus Johansson To the Sky was named the best video of the year. He has also made longer music documentaries for TV with, for example, Roxette and Eldkvarn and won several international awards for his work with commercials. In Sweden he won a Gold Medal for best photo in 2002.
